Despite its lack luster appearance and lack ofQuite BrightSchool of Information
Despite its lack luster appearance and lack of any social atmosphere, I go to Drexel because their IST program is #1 in the country. Drexel is also saved by its co-op program which gives students both the chance to determine where they belong in their particular field of study and a competitive advantage when seeking employment after graduation. It is also worth mentioning that Drexel is currently building several new structures and is engaged in a campus beatification project that has yielded astounding results. Nevertheless, the campus remains rather ugly, especially when compared to the University of Pennsylvania's which is only a stones throw away (literally - some PENN students even live in buildings located deep within Drexel's campus). Most students looking for the "Party" lifestyle are not going to be happy at Drexel. Parties are hard to come by, and many charge admission. Moreover, the male to female ratio completely kills the dating scene. However, with that being said, I do feel that I am receiving an above average education, especially in my field - IST. I am currently working my first of three co-op's. During these co-op's I work full time at a company I select (this means no classes, just work). I am currently working for the Systems division of CIGNA Insurance – did I mention these are PAID co-op’s. This is why you will find a lot of students living in their own apartment’s off-campus. Typically, Drexel students have some money. When I return to classes in the Spring I will do so as a commuter, as I felt the money spent to live on campus last year was a waste, because of the non-existent social scene. This is probably why 80% of the student body commutes. I cannot recommend Drexel to everyone. Only career driven students who are interested in getting on the job work experience in technical fields should consider and attend Drexel University.

Question
Drexel is the worst thing ever to happenSuper BrilliantComputer Science
Drexel is the worst thing ever to happen to higher education. They pride themselves on how close they are to the University of Pennsylvania. We won't learn a thing. My first year Composition course had a story for us to read called "Rape Fantasies." How enlightening. You will learn nothing except how quick you can get rid of your money. Thank God I transferred and now I'm actually LEARNING! Now I actually know that the world doesn't exist in a bubble. Don't go..... you will regret it.

Question
Drexel sucks.Super BrilliantMechanical Engineering
Drexel sucks. You pay for the name only. Professors to involved in their own reasearch to even bother with you. Organization is very poor all they want is more students and money. They only want your money, and once your in good luck transfering credits to get out. They suck you in so you cant leave. Entire programs are based on wrong materials. All the professors are to self involved or they just don't know anything. Nobody cares what you think once your in. The university only cares for its image. Get used to bums and getting hit by cars. Many poor english speaking and writting professors.
